Looking back, moving forward: we pick out some of the most compelling moments in the journey of the Pai Kane Group in the year 2018.

The biggest highlight of last year has to be Power Engineering India Pvt Ltd concluding the buy-out of Sheaf Power Ltd., a British company located in Sheffield. Atul Pai Kane, chairman and managing director of the Pai Kane group, said that “the acquisition will create a manufacturing base for the Pai Kane brand in the UK while keeping the business of Sheaf Power exactly the same.”

We have been proactively working on growing our market globally, and the fact that we are now present in 67 countries across the world, through either dealerships, distributors or sales, says a lot to this fact. We have made inroads into the markets of Kuwait, Nepal, Tanzania and Myanmar, amongst others. We even catered our products to a 100 police stations in Sri Lanka.

This year also marked a massive shift in our marketing strategy, with an aim at globalization. We were a part of the largest Industrial and Engineering Expo in Nagpur, ‘Indexpo’. This expo helped bring us closer to domestic buyers, manufacturers and suppliers of various industrial and engineering equipment. We also announced the signing of a new dealership in Kuwait at the Middle East Electricity. The Middle East Electricity is the premier exhibition fervent on showcasing power products. This was the second time in a row, we were a part of the Middle East Electricity summit.

In the sweltering summer, we traveled all the way to Muscat to take part in the Al Naba Seminar. The event was an exclusive day-long event at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Muscat and was hosted by the Omani Al Naba Equipment & Supplies LLC, who is also the approved partner of the Pai Kane Group in the Sultanate region. The session was attended by industry professionals from the Oman market and it also showcased the products that we had to offer the market there.

The year that saw us globe-trotting ended on a high note with our participation at the TowerXchange Meetup in Singapore. This was the fourth year in a row that saw us participate. This year however, we upped the ante by making our way to the bronze sponsor list. TowerXchange was a two-day event that focused on the telecom technologies and innovations for the top telecom related businesses in Asia.

The year 2018 saw tremendous growth and opportunities for us. As we start the brand new year, we’d like to wish you all the very best. We’re eagerly looking forward to tapping into new markets and everything else that comes our way.
